OLD BUSINESS (CON'T) <br />a. continued... <br />for office development to allow for an expansion <br />of the building that the Associates are located in. <br />Mr. Panzica represented Crescent Michiana <br />Properties. He noted that the Associates wishes <br />add on 28,800 sq. ft. to the rear of the current <br />building. They have experienced tremendous <br />growth since moving into the Blackthorn <br />Corporate Park. The Associates currently have <br />120 employees and hope by the end of the <br />expansion to increase the number to 200 full - <br />time employees. <br />Mr. Panzica stated that the Associates are asking <br />for the abatement in order to make the expansion, <br />get more flex space, and put in more processing <br />equipment. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1762 <br />approving an application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 3801 Crescent <br />Circle in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. (Crescent Michiana Properties, LLC) <br />b. Commission approval requested for Appeal <br />on Signage in Connection with property at 112 <br />W. Jefferson Blvd. (Wells Fargo) <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the total area of the signs <br />exceed the 36 sq.ft. maximum per building face, <br />but they do not exceed the 5% of the building <br />area of each face. North American Signs has <br />agreed to put two layers of diffuser material <br />behind the red background on each sign.
