South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting - May 19, 2000
6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.)
j. continued...
the right -of -way along the northern
border of the site. This will provide
additional screening for the parking to be
located at the north end of the site.
The overall area of landscaping to be
provided is still well above the required 5
percent with a total landscape coverage of
12.3 percent of the site area.
The revised site plan identifies a total
number of 35 parking spaces. Based
upon the building size and the proposed
uses there would be a parking demand of
27 spaces. The revised site plan is well
within the zoning requirements for
parking.
The staff recommendation is for the
approval of the revised site plan.
Mrs. Kolata recommended and the
Commission agreed that the entire staff
report be included as a part of these
minutes. That report is attached as
Exhibit A.
Upon a motion by Mr. Kahn, seconded by
Ms. Jones and unanimously carried, the
Commission approved the Revised Site
Plan for property located at Main and
Sample in the Sample -Ewing
Development Area.
-18-
COMMISSION APPROVED THE REVISED SITE
PLAN FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT MAIN AND
SAMPLE IN THE SAMPLE -EWING DEVELOPMENT
AREA
