South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 5, 2000 <br />4404 Nimtz Parkway. (Blackthorn <br />Nimtz Partners L.P. (Haldex Garphyttan <br />Wire) <br />c. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for professional services in <br />the Sample -Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the four <br />proposals received were from Hull & <br />Associates in the amount of $11,800, <br />Triad Engineering, Inc. in the amount of <br />$12,700, Sesco in the amount of $9,000 <br />and Mostardi Platt in the amount of <br />$4,900.00. <br />The proposals are for a Phase I <br />Environmental Site Assessment and a <br />Phase II Work Plan for the former <br />Studebaker properties located south of <br />Sample Street. This includes the former <br />Engineering Building, South Bend <br />Lathe, Huckins Tool & Die, the former <br />South Bend Stamping and Underground <br />Pipe & Valve. The staff recommends <br />accepting the proposal from Hull & <br />Associates as the proposals from Sesco <br />and Mostardi Platt did not include the <br />preparation of a Phase II Work Plan in <br />their cost estimates. <br />She also stated that the staff has been <br />working with the Urban Enterprise <br />Association on submitting a grant <br />application on behalf of the Department <br />of Community & Economic <br />Development, Division of <br />Redevelopment to the Indiana <br />Department of Commerce and that <br />approval of the proposal shall be <br />
