South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - March 17, 2000 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />e. Commission approval requested for <br />Loan and Grant in connection with the <br />Affordable Loan Program for property <br />at 932 Fairway. (Betty Jaronik) <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the loan is in the <br />amount of $2,600.00 at 0% interest for <br />10 years with monthly payments of <br />$21.67. The grant is in the amount of <br />$2,406.25. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Loan and <br />Grant in connection with the Affordable <br />Loan Program for property at 932 <br />Fairway. (Betty Jaronik) <br />f. Commission approval requested for <br />Sign from Ameriplex in connection <br />with the property in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that a letter -of- request <br />was received from Ameriplex to <br />construct a monument sign along the <br />Toll Road just east of Olive Road. The <br />proposed sign is larger than the design <br />guidelines requirements for the area. <br />The sign will potentially be visible only <br />from the Toll Road. The proposed size <br />of the sign is 14' high by 16' wide <br />although the sign is large, it is <br />compatible with the scale of the <br />Ameriplex buildings. <br />W <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE LOAN AND GRANT <br />IN CONNECTION WITH THE AFFORDABLE LOAN <br />PROGRAM FOR PROPERTY AT 932 FAIRWAY. <br />(BETTY JARONIK) <br />
