NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Jones, seconded <br />by Mr. Kahn and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the proposal <br />from Williams Communication for <br />disposition of property in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />b. Staff report on disposition of property <br />in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. <br />A site plan was submitted to the <br />Commission for its consideration. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that a proposal was <br />received from Abro Facilities II, LLC for <br />the purchase of Lot 4F in the Blackthorn <br />Corporate Park. The proposed purchase <br />price is $93,840.00 for the 1.84 acre site. <br />The 10 percent performance guaranty <br />has been submitted. The developer <br />intends to begin construction as soon as <br />possible and occupy the building by the <br />end of the year 2000. Abro proposes to <br />construct a two- level, 13,000 sf facility <br />to serve as the corporate headquarters for <br />Abro Industries, Inc. The structure will <br />consist of offices, conference rooms and <br />common work areas. The construction <br />will consist of brick with accent stone, <br />brick and rock face and extensive <br />windows looking over the wetlands area. <br />In <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />WILLIAMS COMMUNICATION FOR DISPOSITION <br />OF PROPERTY IN THE SAMPLE -EWING <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
