NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />c. continued.... <br />Phase II includes acquiring four vacant <br />Lots between the Pentecostal Church and <br />the Elks Lodge on the north side of <br />Western Avenue. <br />Mr. Hunt opened the public hearing for <br />anyone who wished to speak regarding <br />Resolution No. 1669. Mr. Clayton Dailey, <br />West Central Business Group, asked Mr. <br />Cotton if he knows if the City owns any of <br />the four Lots located next to the viaduct on <br />the north side of Western Avenue and east <br />of Walnut Street. Mr. Cotton stated that <br />the City of South Bend owns the Lot <br />farthest to the east of the four Lots located <br />on the north side of Western Avenue and <br />east of Walnut Street near the viaduct. Mr. <br />Dailey asked Mr. Cotton if he knows who <br />owns the other three lots near the viaduct <br />on the north side of Western Avenue and <br />on the east side of Walnut. Mr. Cotton <br />stated that the other three Lots are <br />privately owned. Mr. Dailey stated that <br />amending the West Washington- Chapin <br />Development Area Development Plan is a <br />good idea and he would be in favor of <br />adopting Resolution No. 1669. Dea <br />Andrews of South Bend Heritage <br />Foundation stated that they are in favor of <br />adopting Resolution No. 1669.
