Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1669. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items <br />be entered into the record: (1) Affidavits <br />from the Tri- County News and South <br />Bend Tribune that the Notice of Public <br />Hearing was published in those <br />newspapers on January 29, 1999; (2) A <br />statement from Lee Cotton that a <br />Statement to Taxing Units located within <br />the West Washington- Chapin <br />Development Area was sent to the taxing <br />jurisdictions on January 28, 1999; (3) A <br />statement from Lee Cotton that on January <br />29, 1999, copies of the Notice of Public <br />Hearing were sent to the affected property <br />owners and registered neighborhood <br />associations. As of 10:00 am. this <br />morning no written remonstrances were <br />received. <br />Lee Cotton, Neighborhood Planner <br />presented a map of the West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area to the <br />Commission for its consideration. Mr. <br />Cotton stated that there are two phases to <br />Resolution No. 1669 amending the West <br />Washington- Chapin Development Area <br />Development Plan. Phase I includes <br />expanding the West Washington- Chapin <br />Development Area Development Plan by <br />including Lots between Walnut Street to <br />the west, Laurel Street to the east and all <br />the Lots on the north side of Western <br />Avenue in between Walnut and Laurel <br />Streets. <br />HAWPDATATOMMSM021999.MIN -6- <br />
