South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - February 5, 1999 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />g. continued.... <br />Hope wanted to sell. A lot was included <br />in the Deed to New Hope, which should <br />not have been included. This matter needs <br />to be corrected, however, the property <br />which should not have been included in <br />the Deed is part of a mortgage with 1 st <br />Source Bank. The City of South Bend will <br />give New Hope Missionary Baptist <br />Church a Quit -Claim Deed to the property <br />it purchased from the City of South Bend, <br />and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church <br />will give a Quit -Claim Deed to the City <br />for the property it sold to the City of South <br />Bend. In addition, 1 st Source Bank will <br />change the mortgage and release the <br />property which should not have been <br />included in the original Deed. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Blake, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE QUIT -CLAIM DEED <br />Ms. Schwartz and unanimously carried, RELATIVE TO THE NEW HOPE MISSIONARY <br />the Commission approved the Quit -Claim BAPTIST CHURCH <br />Deed relative to the New Hope Missionary <br />Baptist Church. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that she and Owen Rock <br />will close today on the sale of Lot 10 in the <br />U.S. 31 Industrial Park to Dennis Bamber. <br />She also reported that the renovation of the <br />State Theater facade won the "Building <br />Masonry Award for Public Construction." <br />from MACAIF.
