If the person who wishes to <br />take over the home does not have any <br />financial or Code issues, then the <br />applicant's application is presented to the <br />Commission for its consideration. <br />Ms. Schwartz asked Ms. Thompson about <br />the history of the property at 1508 S. Scott <br />Street with Code Enforcement. Ms. <br />Thompson stated that there are no open <br />issues with Code Enforcement on this <br />property. <br />Ms. Schwartz also asked if there has been <br />a history of violations on this property <br />IL with the Dept. of Code Enforcement. <br />Ms. Thompson stated that she only <br />checked for open issues. <br />Ms. Schwartz asked Ms. Thompson if she <br />has talked to Susan Casey, the person who <br />wants to take over Mr. Hancz's mortgage <br />obligations. Mrs. Thompson stated that <br />she talked to Mrs. Casey's husband. <br />Ms. Thompson also stated that Ms. Casey <br />works in Elkhart, Indiana.
