NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />b. continued.... <br />Redevelopment Commission from the <br />Redevelopment Authority. The <br />Redevelopment Commission will <br />subsequently sell the land to One <br />Blackthorn, LLC for development of a <br />10,000 sf. office building. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission adopted Resolution <br />No. 1639 accepting the transfer of real <br />property from the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority. <br />c. Commission approval requested for <br />Contract for Sale of Land in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the Contract is with <br />One Blackthorn, LLC. One Blackthorn, <br />LLC proposes to purchase 1.43 acres of <br />buildable land for a purchase price of <br />$55,000. A 10,000 sf, building will be <br />built on the 1.43 acres of land. $8,500 of <br />the purchase price will be put into an <br />Escrow account to be used for landscaping <br />in connection with the proposed project. <br />A closing is scheduled for Monday, <br />September 21, 1998, at 2:30 p.m. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Contract for <br />Sale of Land in the Airport Economic <br />HAWPDATATOMMSM091898.MIN -6- <br />COMMISSION ADOPTED RESOLUTION NO. 1639 <br />ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY <br />FROM THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />AUTHORITY <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE CONTRACT FOR <br />SALE OF LAND IN THE AIRPORT ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
