South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - August 21, 1998 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />h. Commission approval requested for a <br />Corporate Undertaking in the Sample - <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />Anne Bruneel, attorney for the Division of <br />Redevelopment, stated that this is for the <br />prescriptive easements that Jeff Newman <br />claims over the Redevelopment <br />Commission's property. The easements <br />were included in the City of South Bend's <br />Eminent Domain action. The Civil City of <br />South Bend is condemning the Newman and <br />Altman building. Metropolitan Title will <br />insure the easements until the condemnation <br />action is completed. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Ms. Schwartz and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the Corporate <br />Undertaking in the Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area. <br />i. Commission approval requested for <br />Addendum to Lease with the South Bend <br />Chocolate Company. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that this is for the <br />building at 122 S.
