South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - August 21, 1998 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />g. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1636 accepting the <br />transfer of real property from the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the Resolution <br />transfers a piece of land, which the City of <br />South Bend owns, to the Commission. The <br />property is needed for the jail site. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. 1636 <br />accepting the transfer of real property from <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />E Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1635 approving the <br />transfer of real property to St. Joseph <br />County. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that the Resolution <br />transfers the piece of property, which is the <br />jail site, to St. Joseph County in exchange <br />for $1,000,000.
