The <br />South Bend Chocolate Company's <br />building is adjacent to the Hall of Fame lot <br />to the north. The South Bend Chocolate <br />Company needs a 20' non - buildable area <br />in order to have doors and windows <br />installed on the north side of the building. <br />Mr. Hunt asked if the entry way, which <br />would be cut into the north side of the <br />building, would change the parking <br />arrangement on the north side of the <br />former Center City building. Mrs. Kolata <br />stated that the South Bend Chocolate <br />Company wants to keep most of the <br />parking spaces on the north side of its <br />building, but she has not seen a revised <br />parking plan. South Bend Chocolate is <br />working closely with the Hall of Fame and <br />Redevelopment on the use of the 20 feet. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Blake, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE UTILITY EASEMENT <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the FOR PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE SOUTH BEND <br />Commission approved the utility easement CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />for property located in the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that Transpo dedicated <br />its South Street Station on July 9, 1998, and <br />stated that it's a beautiful building and a <br />welcome addition to the south end of the <br />downtown. <br />HAWPDATA \C0MMSN\071798.MIN -10- <br />
