NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />a. continued.... <br />WHEREAS, Paula has never forgotten the <br />public that she serves and has been <br />committed to the public process of <br />decision making, recognizing its <br />importance as necessary and beneficial to <br />the decision being made; and <br />WHEREAS, Paula has now decided to <br />retire from her volunteer service on the <br />Commission and will now find other <br />activities to pursue on the first and third <br />Friday of each month; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br />that the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Ce Commission hereby recognizes Paula N. <br />Auburn for her extraordinary commitment <br />and distinguished service to the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission and the <br />City of South Bend; thanks her for the <br />outstanding contributions she has made; <br />and declare it will sincerely miss her <br />diligent work and her presence at future <br />meetings. <br />Mr. Hunt thanked Mrs. Auburn for all her <br />hard work and wished her good luck in all <br />her endeavors. Other Commissioners also <br />thanked her for her dedicated service and <br />said she would be missed. <br />Mrs. Auburn stated that it has been a <br />pleasure to serve on the Redevelopment <br />Commission for 19 years.
