AUBURN FOR <br />EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE TO <br />THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, Paula N. Auburn has been a <br />member of the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission since January 1979, the <br />longest tenure in Commission history; and <br />WHEREAS, during her tenure on the <br />Commission Paula has had an active role <br />in projects such as the 1st Source Center, <br />the East Bank and East Race Waterway, <br />Monroe Park, Teachers Credit Union, <br />Once Michiaaa Square, the re- opening of <br />Michigan Street, Coveleski Stadium, the <br />Pointe of St. Joseph Apartments, West <br />Washington Homes, the Studebaker <br />Corridor project, Central High School <br />Apartments, Stephenson Mill Apartments, <br />Blackthorn Golf Course, Blackthorn <br />Corporate Park, the College Football Hall <br />of Fame, Southeast Heritage Housing, the <br />St. Joseph County Juvenile Justice Center, <br />the Boys and Girls Club at the Family and <br />Children's Center — Southeast, the new <br />campus of Ivy Tech State College, <br />Robertson's Apartments, the Leighton <br />Plaza project and the Morris Performing <br />Arts Center; and <br />WHEREAS, Paula always looked for a <br />way to make projects happen in a way that <br />benefrtted South Bend, using her skills in <br />negotiation, give - and -take and <br />in <br />
