EMI/RFI susceptibility shall be controlled by applying appropriate circuit designs and <br />shielding. The electrical system shall be designed for full compatibility with low-level <br />control signals and high-powered two-way radio communication systems. Harness and cable <br />routing shall be given careful attention to minimize the potential for conducting and radiated <br />EMI/RFI susceptibility. <br />DEDICATED MDT MOUNT <br />YE NO <br />There shall be a dedicated mount with slide for a mobile data terminal in front of office seat <br />that shall be pre -wired by the manufacture with customer supplied 9 pin wire. It shall also <br />have a dedicated 12-volt circuit. <br />BATTERY SYSTEM <br />Four (4)12 volt, batteries that include the following features shall be provided: <br />- 950 CCA (cold cranking amps) <br />- 170 reserve capacity <br />(ONO <br />- High cycle <br />- Maintenance free <br />- Group 31 <br />- Rating of 3800 CCAat 0 degrees Fahrenheit <br />YES O <br />- 1020 minutes of reserve capacity <br />- Threaded posts <br />BATTERY SYSTEM <br />&NO <br />A single starting system shall be provided <br />An ignition switch and starterbutton shall be located on the instrument panel. <br />MASTER BATTERY SWITCH <br />YES O <br />A master battery switch, to activate the battery system, shall be provided inside the cab <br />within easy reach of the driver while seated in the driver's seat. <br />An indicator light shall be provided on the instrument panel to notify the driver of the status <br />of the battery system. <br />BATTERY COMPARTMENT <br />&EO <br />The batteries shall be stored in well -ventilated compartment that is located under the cab and <br />bolted directly to the chassis frame. The battery compartment shall be constructed of <br />stainless -steel plate and be designed to accommodate a maximum of four (4) group 31 <br />batteries. <br />JUMPER STUDS <br />One (1) set of batteryjumper studs with plastic color -coded covers shall be installed This <br />shall allow enough room for easy jumper cable access. <br />BATTERY CHARGER <br />A 40-amp automatic battery charger with on board compressor shall be provided. <br />PNO <br />The battery charger shall be wired to the AC shoreline inlet through an AC receptacle <br />adjacent to this battery charger. <br />42 <br />
