For durability and ease of maintenance, the cab interior side walls will be painted aluminum. The rear <br />wall will be painted aluminum. <br />The headliner will be installed in both forward and rear cab sections. Headliner material will be vinyl. A <br />sound barrier will be part of its composition. Material will be installed on an aluminum sheet and <br />securely fastened to interior cab ceiling. <br />The forward portion of the cab headliner will permit easy access for service of electrical wiring or other <br />maintenance needs. <br />All wiring will be placed in metal raceways. <br />CAB INTERIOR UPHOLSTERY <br />The cab interior upholstery will be 36 oz black vinyl. <br />CAB INTERIOR PAINT <br />The cab interior metal surfaces, excluding the rear heater panels, will be painted black, vinyl texture <br />paint. <br />The rear heater panels will be painted black, vinyl textured paint. <br />CAB FLOOR <br />The cab and crew cab floor areas will be covered with PolydampTM acoustical floor mat consisting of a <br />black pyramid rubber facing and closed cell foam decoupler. <br />The top surface of the material has a series of raised pyramid shapes evenly spaced, which offer a <br />superior grip surface. Additionally, the material has a 0.25" thick closed cell foam (no water absorption) <br />which offers a sound dampening material for reducing sound levels. <br />DEFROST/AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM <br />A ceiling mounted combination heater, defroster and air conditioning system will be installed in the cab <br />above the engine tunnel area. <br />Cab Defroster <br />A 54,000 BTU heater -defroster unit with 690 SCFM of air flow will be provided inside the cab. The <br />heater -defrost will be installed in the forward portion of the cab ceiling. Air outlets will be strategically <br />located in the cab header extrusion per the following: <br />• One (1) adjustable will be directed towards the left side cab window <br />• One (1) adjustable will be directed towards the right side cab window <br />• Six (6) fixed outlets will be directed at the windshield <br />The defroster will be capable of clearing 98 percent of the windshield and side glass when tested under <br />conditions where the cab has been cold soaked at 0 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 hours, and a 2 ounce <br />per square inch layer of frost/ice has been able to build up on the exterior windshield. The defroster <br />system will meet or exceed SAE J382 requirements. <br />23 of 89 <br />
