LOGO AND CUSTOMER DESIGNATION ON DASH <br />The dash panel will have an emblem containing the Pierce logo and customer name. The emblem will <br />have three (3) rows of text for the customer's department name. There will be a maximum of eight (8) <br />characters in the first row, 11 characters in the second row and 11 characters in the third row. <br />The first row of text will be: South Bend <br />The second row of text will be: Fire <br />The third row of text will be: Department <br />AUTOMATIC CHASSIS LUBRICATION <br />A Vogel Automatic Lubrication System will be provided. The lubrication will be supplied while the <br />vehicle ignition switch is active to allow a uniform application of grease to the locations listed. The <br />electronic control unit that forms part of the system will activate the pump after an adjustable interval <br />time. The unit will control and monitor pump operation and report any faults via an indicator light on the <br />dashboard of the driver's cab. <br />The lubrication system reservoir, which requires a 15.00" wide x 14.50" high x 6.25" deep mounting <br />area, will be located passenger side on the apparatus. <br />-Slack Adjusters <br />-Brake Cam Screws <br />-Steering Assist Cylinder (if applicable) <br />-Tie Rods <br />-Drag Link <br />-King Pins <br />-Spring Pins <br />-Shackle Pins <br />-Walking Beam Pins (Tandem axle, if applicable) <br />BUMPER <br />A one (1) piece bumper manufactured from 0.25" formed steel with a 0.38" bend radius will be <br />provided. The bumper will be a minimum of 12.00" high with a 1.50" top and bottom flange, and will <br />extend 22.00" from the face of the cab. The bumper will have 45 degree corners. The bumper will be <br />metal finished and painted job color. <br />To provide adequate support strength, the bumper will be mounted directly to the front of the C channel <br />frame. The frame will be a bolted modular extension frame constructed of 50,000 psi tensile steel. <br />16 of 89 <br />
