GRAVEL PAN <br />A gravel pan, constructed of bright aluminum treadplate, will be furnished between the bumper and the <br />cab face. The pan will be properly supported from the underside to prevent flexing and vibration. <br />Documentation will be provided, upon request, to show that the options selected have been engineered <br />for fit -up and approval for this modular bumper extension. A chart will be provided to indicate the option <br />locations and will include, but not be limited to, the following options: air horns, mechanical sirens, <br />speakers, hose trays (with hose capacities), winches, lights, discharge and suction connections. <br />CENTER HOSE TRAY <br />A hose tray, constructed of aluminum, will be placed in the center of the bumper extension. <br />The tray will have a capacity of 200' of 1.75" double jacket cotton -polyester hose. <br />Black rubber grating will be provided at the bottom of the tray. Drain holes are also provided. <br />Center Hose Tray Cover <br />A bright aluminum treadplate cover will be provided over the center hose tray. <br />The cover will be attached with a stainless steel hinge. <br />One (1) D-ring latch will secure the cover in the closed position and a pneumatic stay arm on each side <br />will hold the cover in the open position. <br />LIFT AND TOW MOUNTS <br />Mounted to the frame extension will be lift and tow mounts. The lift and tow mounts will be designed <br />and positioned to adapt to certain tow truck lift systems. <br />The lift and tow mounts with eyes will be painted the same color as the frame, <br />TOW HOOKS <br />Two (2) chromed steel tow hooks will be installed under the bumper and attached to the front frame <br />members. The tow hooks will be designed and positioned to allow up to a 6,000 lb straight horizontal <br />pull in line with the centerline of the vehicle. The tow hooks will not be used for lifting of the apparatus. <br />SIGHT RODS <br />Two (2) Bores, Model 848-211, lighted sight rods will be mounted to the outside corners of the front <br />bumper extension. The rods will be polished stainless steel. <br />CAB <br />The Enforcer cab will be designed specifically for the fire service and manufactured by the chassis <br />builder. <br />The cab will be built by the apparatus manufacturer in a facility located on the manufacturer's premises. <br />For reasons of structural integrity and enhanced occupant protection, the cab will be a heavy duty <br />design, constructed to the following minimal standards. <br />17 of 89 <br />
