There shall be one (1) Code 3 36.01" long x 2.84" high x 2.24" deep, amber LED traffic <br />directing light installed at the rear of the apparatus. <br />The Whelen model TACTLDI control head shall be included with this installation. <br />The auxiliary warning mode shall be activated with the control head only. <br />This traffic directing light shall be recessed with a smooth aluminum trim plate at the rear of <br />the apparatus as high as practical. The trim plate shall match the chevron striping on the rear <br />of the truck. <br />The traffic directing light controller shall be located within the cab. <br />:OOSE EQUIPMENT <br />The following equipment shall be furnished with the completed unit: <br />- One (1) bag of chrome, stainless steel, or cadmium plated screws, nuts, bolts and washers, <br />as used in the construction of the unit <br />WPA REQUIRED LOOSE EQUIPMENT, PROVIDED BY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />The following loose equipment as outlined in NFPA 1901, 2016 edition, section 5.8.2 and <br />5.8.3 shall beprovided by the fire department. All loose equipment shall be installed on the <br />apparatus by the Fire Department before placed in emergency service, unless the fire <br />department waives NFPA section 4.21. <br />- 800 ft (60 m) of 2'/2' (65 mm) or larger fire hose. <br />- 400 ft (120 m) of 1 %z" (38 mm), I W (45 mm), or 2" (52 mm) fire hose. <br />- One (1) handline nozzle, 200 gpm (750 L/min) minimum. <br />- Two (2) handline nozzles, 95 gpm (360 L/min) minimum. <br />- One (1) playpipe with shutoff and 1 " (25 mm), 1 1 /8" (29 mm), and 1'/<" (32 mm) tips. <br />- One (1) SCBA complying with NFPA 1981, Standard on Open-CircuitSelf-Contained <br />Breathing Apparatus forFire and Emergency Services, for each assigned seating position, <br />but not fewer than four (4), mounted in brackets fastened to the apparatus or stored in <br />containers supplied by the SCBA manufacturer. <br />- One (1) spare SCBA cylinder for each SCBA carried, each mounted in a bracket fastened t <br />the apparatus or stored in a specially designed storage space(s). <br />- One (1) first aid kit. <br />- Four (4) combination spanner wrenches mounted in bracket(s) fastened to the apparatus. <br />- Two (2) hydrant wrenches mounted in brackets fastened to the apparatus. <br />- Four (4) ladder belts meeting the requirements of NFPA 1983, Standard on Fire Service <br />Life Safety Rope and System Components (if equipped with an aerial device). <br />- One (1) double female 2Y2' (65 mm) adapterwith National Hose threads, mounted in a <br />bracket fastened to the apparatus. <br />- One (1) double male 2'/2 " (65 mm) adapter with National Hose threads, mounted in a <br />bracket fastened to the apparatus. <br />- One (1) rubber mallet, for use on suction hose connections, mounted in a bracket fastened <br />72 <br />
