PRESSURE GAUGES <br />The individual "line" pressure gauges for the discharges shall be liquid filled and <br />manufactured by Class 1. <br />They shall be a minimum of 2.00" in diameter and shall have white faces with black <br />lettering. <br />Gauge construction shall include a Zytel nylon case with adhesive mounting gasket and <br />threaded retaining nut. <br />Gauges shall have a pressure range of 30"-0-400#. <br />The individual pressure gauge shall be installed as close to the outlet control as practical. <br />This gauge shall include a 10 year warranty against leakage, pointer defect, and defective <br />bourdon tube. <br />WATER LEVEL GAUGE <br />An electric water level gauge shall be incorporated in the pressure controller that registers <br />water level by means of 9 LEDs. They shall be at 1 /8 level increments with a tank empty <br />LED. The LEDs shall be a bright type that is readable in sunlight and have a full 180-degree <br />of clear viewing. <br />To further alert the pump operator, the gauge shall have a warning flash when the tank <br />volume is less than 25% and shall have "Down Chasing LEDs when the tank is almost <br />empty. <br />The water level gauge shall also incorporate an audible alarm. <br />The level measurement shall be ascertained by sensing the head pressure of the fluid in the <br />tank or cell. <br />SIGHT SHIELDS <br />Illumination shall be provided by LED lights at each pump control panel for controls, <br />switches, essential instructions, gauges, and instruments necessary for the operation of the <br />apparatus and the equipment provided on it. External illumination shall be a minimum of five <br />(5) foot-candles on the face of the device. Internal illumination shall be a minimum of four <br />(4) foot -lamberts. <br />Lights shall be installed under a stainless -steel shield. A light shall come on above the pump <br />panel light switch when the parking brake is set. This is to afford the operator some <br />illumination when first approaching the control panel. A green pump engaged indicator shall <br />come on at the operator's panel when the pump is in OK to Pump mode. The remaining lights <br />to be actuated from a switch located on the pump panel. <br />TIGHT SHIELD <br />There shall be a polished,l6-gauge stainless steel light shield shall be installed over the <br />pump operators' panel. <br />There shall be three (3)18.00" LED lights installed under the stainless -steel light <br />shield to illuminate the controls, switches, essential instructions, gauges, and <br />instruments necessary for the operation of the apparatus. These lights shall be <br />activated by the pump panel light switch. Additional lights shall be included every <br />18.00" depending on the size of the pump house. <br />One (1) pump panel light shall come on when the pump is in ok to pump mode. The <br />65 <br />
