points of thepiping. <br />OUTLETS (Rear) <br />There shall be two (2) discharge outlets piped to the rear of the apparatus, installed so p <br />clearance is provided for spanner wrenches or adapters. Plumbing shall consist of 2.50" <br />piping along with a 2.50" full flow ball valve with the control from the pump operator's <br />panel. <br />)ISCHARGE CAPS <br />Chrome plated, rocker lug, caps with chains shall be furnished for all side discharge outlets. <br />The caps shall be the VLH, which incorporates an exclusive thread design to automatically <br />relieve stored pressure in the line when disconnected. (no exception) <br />BLEEDER VALVE <br />A .75" bleedervalve shall be provided for each outlet 1.50" or larger. Automatic drainvalv4 <br />are preferred with some outlets if deemed appropriate with the application. <br />The valves shall be located behind the panel with a swing style handle control extended to <br />the outside of the side pump panel. The handles shall be chrome plated and provide a visual <br />indication of valve position. The swing handle shall provide an ergonomic position for <br />operating the valve without twisting the wrist and provides excellent leverage. Bleeders sha <br />be located at the bottom of the pump panel. They shall be properly labeled identifying the <br />discharge they are plumbed in to. The water discharged by the bleeders shall be routed beloi <br />the chassis frame rails. <br />REAR RIGHT OUTLET <br />The 2.50" discharge outlets, located on the rear panel, shall be furnished with a 2.50"(F) <br />National Standard hose thread x 2.50"(M) National Standard hose thread, chrome plated, <br />degree elbow. <br />The elbow shall incorporate a thread design to automatically relieve stored pressure in the <br />line when disconnected. <br />REAR LEFT OUTLET <br />The 2.50" discharge outlet, located on the rear panel, shall be furnished with a 2.50"(F) <br />National Standard hose thread x 2.50"(K National Standard hose thread, chrome plated, <br />degree elbow. <br />elbow shall incorporate a thread design to automatically relieve storedpressure in the <br />disconnected. <br />M, 4.00" OUTLET <br />The 4.00" outlet shall be furnished with a 4.00"(F) National Standard hose thread x 5.00" <br />Storz elbow adapter with Storz cap. <br />There shall be three (3) adapters with 1.50" FNST X IPT threads on 1.5" outlets. These <br />adapters shall be installed on both cross lay discharges and the front bumper discharge, all <br />adapters to be chrome plated. <br />There shall be six (6) adapters with 2.50" FNST x 1.50" MNPSH Chrome and cap. These <br />adapters shall be installed on all 2.50" discharges. <br />)ISCHARGE OUTLET CONTROLS <br />The discharae outlets shall incorporate a quarter -turn ball valve with the control located at <br />61 <br />
