'ARTMENT <br />Turtle tile. <br />IUB RAIL <br />Bottom edge of the side compartments shall be trimmed with a bright aluminum extruded <br />rail. <br />The rub rails shall not be an integral part of the body construction, which allows <br />in the event of damage. <br />FENDER CROWNS <br />Stainless steel fender crowns shall be provided around the rear wheel openings. <br />A rubber welting shall be provided between the body and the crown to seal the seam and <br />restrict moisture from entering. <br />A dielectric barrier shall be provided between the fender crown fasteners (screws) and the <br />fender sheet metal to prevent corrosion. <br />The handrails shall be l .25" diameter anodized aluminum extrusion, with a ribbed design, to <br />provide a positive gripping surface. Handrails to be lighted. <br />Chrome plated end stanchions shall support the handrail. Plastic gaskets shall be used <br />between end stanchions and any painted surfaces. <br />Drain holes shall be provided in thebottom of all vertically mounted handrails. <br />- One (1) vertical handrail shall be provided on the driver's side body, on the <br />bulkhead door frame. <br />- One (1) vertical handrail, not less than 29.00" long, shall be located on each rear <br />- One (1) full width horizontal handrail shall be provided below the hose bed at the rear of <br />the apparatus. <br />- Three (3) handrails shall be mounted one each side at walkway entrance with offset <br />stanchions and one on the driver side top body flange. <br />LADDER <br />There shall be a 24, two (2) section, aluminum, Duo -Safety, Series 900-A extension ladder <br />provided <br />LADDER <br />There shall be a 14' aluminum, Duo -Safety, Series 775-DR roof ladder provided The ladder <br />shall have hooks on both ends. <br />LADDERRACK <br />Shall be electric/hydraulic Lift ladder rack mounted above office side compartments. <br />FOLDING LADDER <br />One (1) 10'aluminum, Series 585-A Duo -Safety folding ladder shall be stored on the ladder <br />rack. <br />POLE 8 FT, PROVIDED BY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />NFPA 1901, 2009 edition, Section 5.8.3 requires one (1) 8 ft or longer pike pole mounted to <br />55 <br />
