There is also one vacant <br />position. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission adopted Resolution No. 1561 <br />setting maximum salaries for Redevelopment <br />Staff for 1998 and appointed the <br />Redevelopment staff. <br />5. SET REGULAR MEETING TIMES <br />FOR 1998 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION NO. <br />1561 SETTING MAXIMUM SALARIES FOR <br />REDEVELOPMENT STAFF FOR 1998 AND <br />APPOINTED THE REDEVELOPMENT STAFF <br />Upon a motion by M. Schwartz, seconded by COMMISSION SET REGULAR MEETING TIMES <br />Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, the FOR 1998 <br />Regular Meetings of the Redevelopment <br />Commission for 1998 were set for the 1st and <br />3rd Friday of each month at 10:00 a.m. local <br />time. <br />6. 1997 ACCOMPLISHMENTS <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that 1997 was a very <br />productive year and provided a summary of <br />Redevelopment accomplishments. <br />SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that construction has started <br />on the Leighton Plaza project which includes a <br />60,000 sf office building, the 76,000 sf <br />Memorial Health -Plex and a parking garage <br />containing 644 parking spaces and 11,000 sf <br />of retail space fronting on Michigan Street. <br />F:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSM98ANULOR.MIN -3- <br />
