NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />d. continued.... <br />the new garage and also covers the other <br />retail spaces that are currently in the <br />downtown area — Palais Royale, Wayne <br />Garage and the Osco building. Mrs. <br />Kolata commented that a number of leases <br />with the Commission expire in 1998. The <br />request for proposals would deal with <br />property management of these retail <br />spaces as well as marketing. <br />The staff recommended that the proposal <br />from the Stone Real Estate Group be <br />accepted for Real Estate Marketing <br />Services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area, Sample -Ewing <br />Development Area, and Airport Economic <br />Development Area (excluding the <br />Blackthorn Corporate Park). The staff <br />also recommended accepting the proposal <br />from the Stone Real Estate Group to <br />provide Real Estate Marketing Services in <br />the Blackthorn Corporate Park. The staff <br />felt that CB Commercial/Robert Bradley <br />Associates and Stone Real Estate Group <br />are both excellent companies and both <br />submitted strong proposals. Ms. Auburn <br />commented that the Commission was <br />impressed with both companies and could <br />not go wrong with either company. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded <br />by Ms. Auburn and carried, the <br />Commission accepted the proposal from <br />Stone Real Estate Group to provide Real <br />Estate Marketing Services in the South <br />Bend Central Development Area, Sample- <br />F:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\121997.MIN -10- <br />
