They have had no luck with any city department so far, and are trying to <br />garner HPC support in hopes of getting something done to prevent further damage to the homes in this <br />area. The city's only recommendation was to install check valves, which has helped some, but others not. He <br />believes the root of the issue is a high water table and antiquated sewers.
