Set up a meeting with German Township <br />Trustee for Friday at noon with McClanahan for a review of Cripe-Witter Cemetery; bring file so <br />that they can review and any grant funding sources. Set up meeting with new homeowner, Laurie <br />Littlepage at 1615 E. Wayne about proposed fence for 3:00 on Thursday. Working with Teresa <br />Shuter in Auditors on how to handle die sales of the postcards. Setting up Vendor numbers with <br />Purchasing Department. <br />11 June Elicia and I presented the Board of Commissioners and Auditor with packets of the <br />postcard series at their morning meeting. Prepared and submitted 4 106 Reviews for NNN <br />ReHabs on Cottage Grove. Met with Sue Solmos on text of Riverside Drive that Ed Talley <br />complained to Sue about; researched the issues and will contact Sue with a few minor corrections. <br />Left follow up message with Holly Tate at DNR on National Register nomination. No response. <br />Presented the County Council Members with postcards after their 6:00 caucus. <br />12 June Tour of the progress of the Rushton Apartments with Elicia, Steve and Intern. Worked <br />on Budget and reports. Faxed Paul Diebold the Ordinance landmarking Marquette School. Ed <br />Talley is now sending e-mails stating that historic districts are exempt from changes in street signs— <br />including the new federal regulations on heights. <br />13 June Meeting with Sue Solmos on Riverside Drive and Chapin Park. Attended and participated <br />in Code meeting for Demolition of 230 E. Navarre in River Bend. Vacant and abandoned, there is <br />a buyer because FNMA didn't disclose the Code violations and the demolition order. I am <br />working with the buyer's representatives, earnest money was paid and closing is to occur on 24 <br />June. Buyer has been in the house 3 times and knows the conditions. Meeting with Laurie <br />Littepage, new owner of 1615 E. Wayne about the fence she is proposing. Took pictures and <br />advised that an arborist needs to look at the trees along the proposed fence line because the trees <br />look diseased. Suggested that happen first before the expense of a fence installation. <br />14 June Payroll. Archives contacted HPC about moving remainder of boxes to Olive Street; e- <br />mailed Vickie to set up an appointment to see what is actually left. Meeting with Tom and Teresa <br />McClanahan at Cripe Witter Cemetery. Tom is German Township Trustee. None of the work <br />approved in 2 COAs has been performed. Am to made copies of our files for them because they <br />have nothing in their files. Elicia is contacting Toni Cook at the Genealogical Society who listed <br />who was buried there. She may have a map. Researched in negatives file for 230 E. Navane; <br />unable to locate.
