40� <br />16 May Continued with Director's Report, Staff Review. RME for 822 Leland for <br />removal of dying Maple too close to house. Met with Summer Intern candidate David <br />Klotch; he will work with the digitizing of the City Cemetery records at the O'Brien Center. <br />Received information via a National Website from Sue Solmos viaJitin Kain inquiring <br />about the deterioration of the Sears Magnolia at 325 West North Shore. <br />17 May Followed up on 325 West North Shore. Will e-mail Larry on wording. <br />Maelstrom in Edgewater as vinyl siding is being applied to 722 Arch. Reported to Building <br />Department to red tag as no permit or COA issued. Becky sent Building Inspector,Gary <br />Goddard. Met with Tina Assimos of 557 Edgewater about her proposed roofing material. <br />She will need a COA. <br />18 May Gary Goddard did not red tag for a building permit because the workers <br />claimed that the project was under $500.00; he did red tag for COA. Spoke with the <br />owner, Ross over the phone and arranged for him to come in and speak with me about the <br />required COA. Said paint wouldn't stay on house. Moisture issues. He never came in. <br />Prepared Staff' Report for 557 Edgewater and e-mailed to Commissioners. Gave speech at <br />the re -opening of the Conservatories at Potawatomie Park; other speakers were Mayor <br />Pete, Steve Luecke, Greg Kil, Andy Schnabel and Phil St. Claire. Participated in ribbon <br />cutting. There were at least 400 people milling through the Conservatories—BSSB was <br />only expected 200! <br />
