Todd also has meetings with interested parties in the East Bank on 21 <br />August about the building being located at the corner of Colfax and Hill. Arranged to meet <br />at the Candy Store on 14 August at 10:00. <br />14 August Met with Paul Hayden at the Candy Store with Elicia. Toured the building. <br />There is water damage under the windows and below the parapet. The porch is <br />deteriorated. Paul thought a day long clean out would be in order prior to a move. <br />Building's wood work is in fine shape. Spoke with Jonathan Burke about padative re -sue of <br />buildings and the need for more joint work. Arranged to drop off information on Hydro <br />electric power to South Bend Municipal Energy at Central Services when I take the car in <br />again to be checked - Engine light keeps coming on. New phone is also going to be fixed. <br />Sent Stephanie Yager of Indiana Association of County Commissioners information of the <br />1855 and 1897 Court Houses. <br />15 August Routine Office work, supply orders, accounts payable. Phone finally fixed. <br />Sent copies of Avon materials to Amy and Kevin Buccellato. RME -COA for 5450 Miami <br />for porch repairs. <br />16 August On site visit with Christa Nayder to 621 LWE for re- zoning to MU mixed <br />use district from MF! Multi Family Urban Corridor to allow for a sewing machine repair <br />business and upstairs rental. Issued RME -COA for 620 Carroll for roof repair. Met with <br />Sean Coleman about having an ICON designating a property as historic on the tax system <br />because of all of the tax sales, etc. Approached this situation in 2005 but was rejected <br />because of Lowes contract usage only for taxes. Suggested that the Historic Icon could be <br />used to notify owners/buyers that Federal and State tax credits could be available. <br />17 August Met with Mike Wheeler concerning his letter from Steve on the condition <br />of his landmarked home at 13271 Adams. He will make the minor repairs before winter. <br />Spoke with John Martinez from Parks about the HPC approved landscaping scheme for <br />the North Pumping Station Lift station in Leeper Park East. Holding a copy of the plans <br />for him to pick up next week. Received The Morris Performing Arts Center COA for <br />sign. Prepared Staff report and emailed to Commissioners and Dennis. <br />
