Southhold Preservation Awards - Solicit quotes for event rental. Correspondence with Shane of <br />Onion Station. Prepare guest list. Discussion with Randy Kelly regarding beverages. Working on <br />— iominating committee presentation. Working on ceremony presentation. Correspondence with Pat <br />of the New York Central System Historical Society regarding partnership for rental equipment. Phone <br />call with John Kovach, historian trying to track down a speaker for the New York Central System <br />Historical Society. Nomination presentation to commissioners in HPC Office. Revising presentation <br />and preparing vote ballot to email to Commissioners. Collecting ballots and tallying up votes. <br />16. Preservina Historic Places: Indiana's Statewide Preservation Conference - Attend the conference! <br />17. Meeting with Diana Mendelsohn to discuss various partnership opportunities including recruiting <br />volunteers to scrape paint at the Oliver Inn and an event showcasing a porch built from reclaimed <br />building materials; Meet at HPC Office with Troy Cadotte, founder of Michiana 360 upon his request <br />to learn more about what we do and how we can collaborate. <br />18. State Theatre - Working with DTSB on a pilot program to be launched at State called Pitch Your <br />Plan. Preparing for Open House tours to be held on April 10. Attend presentation by Illinois Institute of <br />Technology students at their school in Chicago. Forward historic photos to Sharon of Ugly Dog Media <br />for inclusion in a digital presentation. Walk through with Steve and Olga to prepare the narrative for <br />the Open House. Phone calls with Tamara. Gave the 3:15 tour to 25 participants. Research history of <br />land surrounding Studebaker factories for Dave Hurley of Ugly Dog Media. <br />19. ,Indiana Tourism grant- Review criteria. Correspondence with Sue Solmos of City, Kurt Garner, and <br />Kristina Craig regarding a partnership. Prepare permission letter to County Commissioners. <br />,orrespondence with Diana Hess of Neighborhood Resources Corporation regarding partnership. <br />Elhck up mock up brochure from Kristina, graphic designer. Meeting with Diana Hess to give her <br />further information regarding the concept. Preparing grant application. Drafting Letters of Support <br />for various organizations. Meeting with Rob DeCleene of CVB. Collecting signatures of supporters. <br />Giving instruction for supporters. Finish application and submit. <br />20. SJCounty Town assistance - Assisting a North Liberty Main Street building owner with paint colors by <br />using the Benjamin Moore paint program at the HPC Office and forward to Sue Solmos. Ask several <br />organizations for letters of support. <br />21. CVB Industry Partner meeting- Attend Social Media luncheon with Catherine, Steve, and Sue <br />Solmos. Networking with Joyce Chambers of Lincoln Highway Association and staff of Center for <br />History. <br />22. Assisting new owner of 115 Garfield Court, Terry Vaughn with historic research on the property; <br />Assist Pat Vann with research on 1130 West Washington. <br />23. Visit to Riverview Cemetery with Catherine to photograph George Cutter's mausoleum. The <br />building was unsecured and we were able to step inside to photograph the damage. Phone call <br />with Stephanie Coulter of Stonemar regarding repairs they are making to the cemetery. <br />24. Attend Center for History presentation, Your Photos, Our History: Street Scenes from the Past, by <br />mvlarilyn Thompson with a guided tour through the exhibit. <br />25.
