visit to 1619 E. Wayne for photographs. Followed up with Diane Bennett Real Estate rep <br />for 1130 E. Wayne on COA progress and building permits. <br />5 May On site visit to 229 West North Shore. Completed Staff Reports. Picked <br />up Location Report. New errors. Completed nine 106 Reviews. Started making copies <br />for Commissioners' packets. Follow up with Thia Vawter on Commercial Building <br />demolition process and paper work. <br />6 May Prepared homeowner/contractor mailings of Agenda and Stall Reports. <br />Delivered or mailed out all Commissioner packets while touring various districts. <br />9 May On site and RME for new roof at 1352 LWE. Title/Assessor <br />Card/1875Adas and Plat Book research for Donald Cornelis at 57549 Crumstown Hwy, <br />property line dispute; Ed Bennett of Garden Homes for 27751 Osborne Road in Liberty <br />Township and Ron Baker for an old cemetery near new Capital Ave -needed to go back to <br />1875; couldn't locate a cemetery. Participated in Center for History Finance Committee <br />meeting. City of South Bend is contemplating purchasing 803 W. Washington from John <br />Freidline with TIF money and then improving, selling to the NICH for $1.00 if the <br />building meets the needs of the NICH for either an archives site or offices. Scheduled <br />luncheon with Dina Harris for Friday about land -marking the Nat. Arranged on-site <br />inspection of Local Landmark 61723 Oak Road for RME porch repairs. <br />10 May On site visit to 61723 Oak to see scope of work needed on porch. All in- <br />kind and repair work proposed and needed. On site visit to 60649 Hickory Road to see <br />completion of re -roof. Photographed other defects to be sent to the management <br />company. Attended a luncheon at the Morris on stage to celebrate the 10 year mark for the <br />refurbishing and re -opening; spoke with Margret King, Joe Kernan, Dr.Marvin Curtis, <br />Ann Puzzello, Mikki Dobski Shidler, Barbara Warner and several board members. <br />11 May General Office Work. Noted that 803 W. Washington is on the City's <br />Took a Personal Day after Noon. <br />12 May Meeting with Kathy Sobecki in Auditor's Office to correct errors on <br />Location Report. Collected and copied information for mailing on the historic homes that <br />are B&Bs for Mr. Steve Cira. Submitted Jennifer Born's letter and resume with letter to <br />Dr. Varner to replace Todd Zeiger as the Common Council's Republican Commissioner. <br />Attended BSSB Executive Committee meeting at the Conservatories at 5:30 and submitted <br />the Treasurer's Report. <br />13 May Luncheon meeting with Dina Harris, Director of Development at IUSB <br />about the Natatorium Civil Rights Center and its landmarking prospects. Prepared for <br />monthly meeting. General Office work. <br />3 <br />
