27 September Returned Jessica Clark's phone inquiry on Auten-Ironwood round about. Compiled photographs for Power Point presentation on October 2. Met with Gary Hershberger on RME-COA 845 Park Avenue. Reviewed Beverly Kingston. Area Plan request for information and opinion on 66321 Walnut, a local land mark. Prepared the September RME report files for October 18 meeting. Advised Ezra on grant for Opera La Salle. Took photographs of Tower, JMS and Morris for October 2 presentation 28 September Meeting with Terry Connelly substituting for Phil St. Claire, Greg Kil, Heidi Gray, Andrew Schnable at the Conservatories about the 2010.2011 heating season and solutions proposed. Heidi is to set up meeting with new Energy person and then the Board will met with Mayor with proposal. Accepted COA for Kevin Hughes re -roof at 406 Manitou. Presented the Out of Line transfers at the St. Joseph County Council Land Use Committee meeting. The proposal went to the full Council with a unanimous favorable recommendation. 29 September Researched for presentation on Saturday and began to prepare power point. Took additional pictures of downtown buildings. Met with Jason Marriot about the roof replacement on 824 Forest Ave. Already a work in progress and the current roof leaking. Contractor unaware that Staff could not approve. Staff canvassed the Commissioner's for a Friday Special meeting to issue a COA for the roof. 30 September On sight visits to 824 Forest and 841 Park Avenue. Drive through West North Shore and River Bend districts. Worked with Wayne on the Power Point presentation for Lincoln dedication. 1 October Special Meeting for COA 2010-0929 for re -roof on 824 Forest; issued COA, prepared minutes and sent copies to Mayor's and Clerk's Office. Met with Cole Hay new owner of 841 Park, issued an RME?COA for porch repair and in-kind restoration also COA for re -roof at 18 October meeting. He also provided the Office with historic elevations of the house and the re -model. Reviewed Power Point. Completed twelve 106 reviews. Reviewed Location Report for any errors. All in-line transfers were accurate and Office books balanced with Auditor's. Sent information about the Singer National Register District to Isabella Vitale at Ciao's Restaurant along with email for various web sites. 2 October 9:00.12:00 Lincoln Dixie Highway dedication and presentation. 4 October Personal Day 5 October Prepared Staff Reports for October 18 HPC meeting. Completed Six 106 reviews. Spoke with Curt Garner about the Michigan Road BTWay initiative.
