16 December On site visit to Local Land Marked Fire Station #4 1240 Thomas for Code <br />Hearing at 1:30. Attended Code hearing and met David Stevens who holds a problematic <br />deed to the building. 1240 Thomas was boarded up when it was land marked in 1999 and <br />has fallen into disrepair especially after a 2007 fire destroyed all of the wood flooring and <br />most of the roof. Mr. Stevens was given until 13 June 2011 to make repairs, obtain clear <br />tide and perform the continued maintenance on the structure required by Code. <br />Spoke with John Freidline about his concerns with non -conforming use at 410-412 N. <br />William Street in the Chapin Park LHD; he has two options prove that it was continuously <br />occupied as a multi family since May, 2004 or turn it into a single family residence. <br />Freidline did have the same conversation with Building Commissioner Charles Bulot and <br />may turn the issue of to his attorney, Mr. Wertheimer. Composed and mailed out Staff <br />Report to Commissioners for Local Landmark Fire House #9 windows. Participated in a <br />5:30 BSSB meeting at the Conservatories. <br />17 December Arranged meeting with Michiana Jewish Historical Society for January 13 at <br />the Jewish Federation with new president, Maggie Goldberg. Contacted Mary Ellen <br />O'Connell about a January meeting concerning West North Shore Triangle area and the <br />possibility of a district. Faxed Jesse Starke of BEE Window the Staff report since all mail <br />goes to Lafayette. Continued to work with Patty Godsey to correct the snafu with Elicia's <br />pay. <br />
