South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting - July 3, 1997 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />n. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal for environmental services in <br />the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that this proposal is for a <br />Phase I Site Environmental Assessment <br />for a 76 Acre Property North of Cleveland <br />Road and East of US 31 located in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that two proposals were <br />received. The first proposal was received <br />from EIS in the amount of $1,300. The <br />second proposal was received from <br />Abonmarche Group, Inc. in the amount of <br />$1,300 for a three to four week schedule or <br />$1,500 for a two week schedule. The staff <br />recommends accepting the proposal from <br />Abonmarche Group, Inc. in the amount of <br />$1,500 for a two week schedule. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded <br />by Mr. Donoho and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission accepted the two week <br />proposal from Abonmarche Group, Inc. <br />for environmental services in the Airport <br />Economic Development Area. <br />o. Commission approval requested for <br />Loan and Grant in connection with the <br />Affordable Loan Program for property <br />located at 1704 Marine St. (Ferne M. <br />Heilman) <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the loan to Ferne M. <br />Heilman is in the amount of $7,050.00 at <br />H:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\070397.MIN -17- <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />ABONMARCHE GROUP, INC.
