0 <br />ALTERATIONS: The concrete porch floor is a replacement. The aluminum storm <br />door and windows are also replacements and there are also some vinyl replacement <br />windows. The garage that was attached to the rear of the house and noted on the 1932 <br />Assessor Card was removed and replaced by an addition and porch. The two car garage <br />in the back yard also noted on the 1932 Assessor Card was removed and replaced by the <br />current single car garage <br />APLICATION ITEMS: Demolition of existing 11' x20' garage, construct new 28' x <br />20' garage. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: Construction of a garage in a new <br />location per Site Plan submitted. (See exhibits A & B) Garage will be constructed five <br />feet from a utility guidewire in the back yard at the top of a small hill overlooking the <br />playing fields of Leeper Park West. The garage will also be situated five feet from the <br />neighbor's fence. In discussions with the homeowner the selection of the vinyl siding <br />will be of a wide 5 inch reveal to more closely match the cedar shake of the house; there <br />will be vinyl cedar shake application in the gable of the garage facing the house. The <br />colors of the vinyl will match the house. The roofing materials will match those of the <br />house. <br />STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES: Reading was waived by President Klusczinski. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval. In general the project falls <br />within the guidelines of the Chapin Park District.
