information that we have concerning this house, which is considered a stick style; gabled ell,
cross plan, and its rated Significant 11. It was built in 1892.
LP: And does this satisfy people's request for more information on this, I would hope.
CH: Well, that's all we have. We don't have an architect of record on this particular property.
LP: Ole We don't need to take any action on this do we?
CH: This is the second reading. Unless you wanted to table it until November again.
LP: No, I'd like to consider this the second reading
CH: Ol; so we'll put it on the agenda for next month for the third and final reading, then ask the
commissioners for a favorable or unfavorable recommendation to the Common Council.
C. NATIONAL REGISTER NOMINATION
None on the agenda.
III. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
September 18, 2006
LP: I have a comment about the minutes. The comment was made tome that, I think that it was
[Councilman] Rouse that said that when they read our minutes its difficult tofollow with the
names abbreviated, its hard for them to know who's talking.. I know it makes it easier to do.
MJC: Should we just use last names?
AH: Whatever they've indicated to you to be their preference, I'll happily do.
JS: Ilike the initials myself.
SP: I think again if its going to the Council if it's a situation where a denial is being appealed, it
would be a special thing when its made, using last names, you wouldn't have to do it for all of
them.
LP: So you're saying just when we've denied something?
SP: If its something that we're submitting them for their approval, we can make the changes to
include last names for that section only, if that's the preference that they desire. That way you're
not doing it for every single thing at every meeting.
LP: That would be a good compromise.
AH: Whatever you decide.
LP: We really don't have to do anything, but they say that they find it harder to follow what is
going on with just initials. But, I think that he's got a good point about denials.
AH: Ok, I think that 1 already, I mean if someone abstains or votes against something then I note
that name.
TK: Did this have something to do with our resolution from last time?
SP: I don't know.
LP: No, this is concerning another matter. Alright, I'd like a motion on the minutes.
MC: I move that the minutes from the September 18, 2006 meeting be approved as written.
TK: Second.
LP: All in favor? (Ayes heard) All opposed?
LR: I abstain I wasn't here.
LP: Motion carries.
Moved: Choitz Second: Klucszinski Vote: 6.0
Abstention: Riley
B. COMMITTEE REPORTS
1.
