He also wondered <br />what the timetable of construction would be and what types of erosion control would be utilized. <br />Further discussion occurred and the Chair then entertained a motion. <br />Timothy Klusczinski: I move to ask the City to amend its application 2006-0505, Shetterley Park, to state <br />that they will plant deep rooted trees near the top of the slope to the extent practical with a preference for <br />native trees. Mary Jane Chase seconded the motion and all were in favor of the motion. The City did <br />provide consent to the amendment. - <br />Joann Sporleder moved to approve Certificate of Appropriateness 2006-0505, Shetterley Park, as <br />submitted and amended. Mary Jane Chase seconded the motion and it passes unanimously. <br />I: E � I_fi:iy <br />1. 1031 East Jefferson <br />Catherine reported that 1031 E. Jefferson Blvd had been placed under interim protection. This constituted <br />First Reading. Staff reported that no response had been received from the bank or from the real estate <br />agent. The minutes from the May 5b meeting were distributed. <br />Todd Zeiger moved to accept the May 5th minutes. Mary Jane Chase seconded the motion and it passed <br />unanimously. <br />C. NATIONAL REGISTER NOMINATION (None at this time.) <br />III. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - April 19, 2006 . <br />Todd Zeiger moved to accept the April 19, 2006 minutes. Mary Jane Chased provided the second and the <br />motion was unanimously approved. <br />B. TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Timothy Klusczinski submitted the most recent budget location report. <br />C. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. President's Report <br />Lynn Patrick mentioned 1031 E. Jefferson and noted that the Commission had just accepted the meeting <br />minutes. She also accepted the resignation of Commission member Diane Wrobel-Illes and thanked her <br />for her service. Committee Reports will be held off until the June meeting with the exception of Tim's <br />briefing on the Preservation Plan. <br />2. Preservation Plan Committee <br />Tim Klusczinski stated his impressions of the Preservation Plan and his "Big 12" ideas for changes. A <br />copy of this is included in the meeting binder. Todd Zeiger stated his agreement with Tim's briefing. He <br />also suggested that the Commission seek funds from the Historic Preservation Fund to hire a consultant to <br />redraft the plan, involve the public through focus groups and incorporate the upcoming results from the <br />
