See drawing number 7. <br />• Remove front door and replace <br />with board and batten door with <br />strap binges and box lock.. See <br />drawing number 2. <br />• Remove windows and replace with <br />sir light double -hung sashes. The <br />sash should be through mortise <br />and tennon with trunnels. (See <br />drawing number 3.) <br />• Re -trim all openings. <br />• Replace six (6) logs with properly <br />notched and properly hewn logs to <br />match originals. Tags numbered <br />«2„ <br />• Remove two (2) logs from <br />coursing. Do not replace. Tags <br />numbered "3". <br />• Install new log below main door <br />threshold. <br />• Remove chimney and splice in logs <br />where removed for firebox. <br />• Install sleeper log. Tag marked "2". <br />• Replace log with properly notched <br />and properly hewn log. Tags <br />marked "2". <br />• Replace improperly installed <br />Dutchman. Tag marked "4". <br />• Remove vines from building face. <br />• Replace window with six light sash, <br />through mortise and tennon with <br />trunnels. This window should be <br />hinged or on slide tracks. See <br />drawing number 3. <br />• During reconstruction do not re <br />stack log gale end. From top wall <br />log to roof deck, frame and install <br />
