"...Ordinance [upper case?] No. 5565-73, as amended, [add comma]..."
"This ordinance, however, does not prevent the ordinary maintenance, [add
comma] modification [word added], and repair...
VI. MINIMUM MAINTENANCE STANDARDS
"...Landmark, structure, [add comma] or property in question..."
G. "...landscaping."
Q: What constitutes "lack of maintenance" where landscaping is
concerned?
APPENDICES
APPENDIX A, CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS
Nowhere in the preamble is it specified that work that falls under the C of A aegis is only
that which is visible from streets. This is an important qualification.
"...requirements, [add comma] or provisions... demolition, [add comma] or removal...
or parts thereof [no comma] shall require
1. "For a project..." Why include the abbreviation "(C of A),"
when the abbreviation isn't used in this section? It's always
spelled out.
2. "This documentation... product literature (if available), scale
drawings..."
APPLICATION
It looks as though a word is missing from "A Certified Local Government ??"
Surely, the Commission itself isn't "A Certified Local Government."
What is the meaning of "In -Kind?" In not -for -profits, that means work or goods donated
by a business that does that kind of work or handles that kind of goods. Since "in-kind"
affects the review process, the term needs to be defined.
APPLICATION FEE
Payment is $5 or $10, depending on the fate of the application, but the payment must be
submitted with the application, before the fate of the application is known. How does one
proceed?
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION AND SITE PLANS
Last paragraph: "Any [capital "A"] documentation submitted..."
