The Common Council will then hold hearings on the recommendation and may or may not vote <br />in favor of an ordinance for landmark designation. She has much experience on the Landmark <br />Committee, is an active member of the South Bend community, and has a particular interest in the Natato- <br />rium. <br />The Common Council has designated two other churches in South Bend local landmarks: the First <br />Presbyterian Church, now know as the People's Church, and Emmaus Lutheran Church.
