Submit two sets of new brick samples intended to be used as <br />replacement for defective brick. <br />1.5 FIELD SAMPLES AND MOCKUPS <br />A. Provide mockup of re -pointed area and restored or re -constructed <br />components for approval of designated Owner or Architect <br />representatives before proceeding. A 10' x 10' sample area will be <br />designated by the Owner. <br />B. Accepted samples may remain as part of the work. <br />1.6 PRE -CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE , <br />A. Contractor shall set up a preconstruction conference. <br />B. Participate and provide data for a meeting of all parties directly <br />affecting the work of this section and related sections. <br />C. Review conditions of installations, installation procedures, and <br />coordination with related work. Coordinate with School Principal, <br />maintenance staff, and other who might be present during the summer <br />months. <br />D. Review all safety procedures. <br />E. Review all building, occupant, and grounds protections and <br />requirements. Establish sequencing and scheduling procedures to <br />minimize public safety hazards and claims for damages. <br />F. Establish delivery, storage, and handling requirements with Owner. <br />Established parking requirements. <br />1.7 ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Keep walls 'damp in hot weather conditions. <br />C. Cover uncured walls in hot, cold, or wet weather conditions as per <br />applicable masonry association recommendations. <br />D. Re -pointing wall temperatures shall be 40 - 95° F. During hot I <br />weather, work on shady side of building and cover re -pointed areas <br />with wet burlap and tarp until set. Do not tuckpoint or repoint <br />frozen masonry areas. I <br />
