JOHN OXIAN: So then you are going to have to cut a section of the fence out to put your garage in
CINDY LEWIS: No, we actually have enough room there. There is a big huge tree that swings out,
and we are so grateful that we don't have to remove that tree; but, because that tree is there we're
probably going to go up to about three or four feet away from the tree. We will swing into the garage
from the east. The garage doors will be facing that proposed fence.
MARTHA CHOITZ: On application 2004-0510-1, the Fredrickson House, I move to approve all of
the application items and the addition of trim detail to the garage at the owner's option.
CATHERINE HOSTETLER: Seconds the motion and it passes unanimously.
Julie Schutte asked that Heidi Cintron, who lives at 215 Hammond Place, and her father, who lives
215 % Hammond Place, be allowed to speak before the commission about the plans they have to
replace the front porch at 215 Hammond Place.
John Oxian asked the commission as a whole if they would agree to hear these two individuals, even
though they were not listed on the agenda. The commission agreed to hear what they had to say.
A brief discussion was held between commission members, Heidi Cintron, and her father, regarding
the proposed plans they have for replacing the front porch.
Commission members informed Heidi Cintron and her father that they would need to submit more
specific documentation, including drawings, construction method, and a list of the materials to be uses
for the project. Martha Choitz suggested they could review other porches in the River Bend district
for ideas of appropriate changes.
B. Local Landmark, First Reading
1.
