LEGAL REPORT: JOHN OXIAN TAKES CHAIR OF MEETING <br />81 <br />82 JOHN LIVINGSTON: Tom Bodnar, my predecessor as HPC's legal counsel, had a massive <br />83 heart attack and is now in intensive care at St. Joseph Hospital. He went into total cardiac <br />84 arrest and his heart fails once or twice a day. He's in bad shape. <br />85 <br />86 COMMISSION AS A WHOLE: Decided to send flowers or a sympathy card to the family. <br />87 <br />88 JOHN LIVINGSTON: The State Auditor, with the assistance of County Auditor John Lentz, <br />89 found $17,000 could be recovered in the Talley matter. Talley pled guilty on September 2, <br />90 2003 to a "D" felony for theft. Sentencing will occur September 2, 2004. He could be <br />91 imprisoned for 3 to 5 years unless the $17,000 can be recovered. <br />92 <br />93 (Extensive discussion on monies included in the case occurred including the $15,600 that may <br />94 have gone to the County. The Commission also discussed the involvement of Key Bank in <br />95 the affair.) <br />96 <br />2 <br />
