Honorable Members of the Historic May , 2001 Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County 227 West Jefferson Blvd. Rm 1123 South Bend, IN 46601-1830 Re: Amendment to Petition/Application by Owner for Release of Historic Landmark Designation On January 26, 2001, the undersigned, Doris Risler, of 14297 State Road 23, Granger, IN 46530-9505, respectfully requested and applied to the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County to release the following described real estate located in St. Joseph County, Indiana, to -wit: Irregular tract 473.65 feet north side Edwardsburg Highway beginning 1287 feet west of the northeast corner, Section 14-38-3 E, containing 41.66 acres, more or less, and more particularly described as follows, to -wit: A part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, St. Joseph County, Indiana, to wit: Beginning at a point on the North line of said Southeast Quarter of said Section 14 which is 1287 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 14; thence West along the North line of said Southeast Quarter of said Section 14, a distance of 926 feet; thence South 1880.4 feet more or less to a point which is 707.6 feet North of the center line of Edwardsburg Highway; thence East 541.6 feet; thence South 341.2 feet to the center of Edwardsburg Highway; thence Northeasterly along the centerline of Edwardsburg Highway, a distance of 473.65 feet; thence North 1945 feet to the place of beginning. Applicant further requested that Ordinance No. 94-76 designating and establishing a historical landmark under Ordinance No. 154A- 1973, as amended, be terminated. Applicant desires to further amend her Application and any prior Amendments thereto by requesting that all of the above -referenced tract, excepting therefrom the following parcel, to -wit: 1
