-.r A part of the West Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 38 North, Range 3 East, St. Joseph County, Indiana, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter; thence West 1,287 feet (Record), more or less, to the Northeast corner of said West Half of the Southeast Quarter; thence South along the East line of said West Half, a distance of 1,868.3 feet, more or less, to a point of intersection of a line segment projected East, said line segment being the South line of an East-West line, length of 541.6 feet, as recorded in Deed Record Book 596, page 337 in the Office of the Recorder of said County, with the East line of said West Half and the point of beginning; thence continuing South along said East line, a distance of 76.7 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Edwardsburg Highway (State Highway 23); thence Southwesterly along said center line, a distance of 473.65 feet (Record); thence North along a West line, which line being a record length of 341.2 feet as recorded in said Deed Record Book 596, page 337, a distance of 341.2 feet; thence East, a distance of 390.6 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning; containing 1.87 acres, more or less; and Subject to covenants, restrictions, easements and rights of way of record, be released from historical landmark designation and that Ordinance No. 94-76 designating and establishing a historical landmark under Ordinance No. 154A-1973, be recommended favorably by the Historical Preservation Commission to be amended so that only the foregoing described tract containing 1.87 acres, more or less, retain the historical preservation designation. WHEREFORE, your Petitioner/Applicant prays and respectfully requests that this Amended Application be voted upon favorably by the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend & St. Joseph County whereby said Commission will initiate and recommend favorably to the St. Joseph County Council an appropriate document or ordinance vacating all but the following described real estate from any and all designation of historic preservation, to -wit: 2
