NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />f. continued.... <br />costs associated with work that may need <br />to be done to accomodate Carnival will be <br />borne by Michiana Arts & Sciences <br />Council. <br />Ms. Kolata asked that the Commission <br />approve the use of the Morris Civic Plaza <br />and the former Mark's restaurant subject <br />to Michiana Arts & Sciences Council <br />providing indemnification and proof of <br />insurance. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE USE OF THE <br />seconded by Mr. Donoho and <br />MORRIS CIVIC PLAZA AND THE FORMER <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />MARK'S RESTAURANT FOR THE MICHIANA <br />approved the use of the Morris Civic <br />ARTS & SCIENCES COUNCIL'S 1997 CARNIVAL <br />FOR THE ARTS, SUBJECT TO MICHIANA ARTS & <br />Plaza and the former Mark's restaurant <br />SCIENCES COUNCIL MEETING ALL OCCUPANCY, <br />for the Michiana Arts & Sciences <br />INSURANCE AND INDEMNIFICATION <br />Council's 1997 Carnival for the Arts, <br />REQUIREMENTS OF THE CITY <br />subject to Michiana Arts & Sciences <br />Council meeting all occupancy, insurance <br />and indemnification requirements of the <br />City. <br />g. Commission approval requested for use <br />of the Municipal Parking Garage for <br />the 22nd Annual "World's Largest <br />Garage Sale ". <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that a letter was <br />received from Betsy Harriman of the <br />South Bend Park Department requesting <br />the use of the Parking Garage on June 6 <br />& 7, 1997 for the "World's Largest <br />Garage Sale" to take place on June 7, <br />1997.
