South Bend Redevelopment Commission
Regular Meeting - February 7, 1997
6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.)
i. continued....
abstained from voting on this proposal.
j. Commission ratification requested for
transfer of ownership of leasehold
interest in Monroe Park Apartments
from Monroe Park Associates, L.P. to
NHG Iowa H, a California Limited
Partnership and approval of
Dominium —Iowa H, LLC as the new
Managing General Partner of NHG
Iowa H.
Mrs. Kolata noted that the Developer of
Monroe Park Apartments, which was
Monroe Park Associates, has transferred
their interest in the project to NHG Iowa
II, a partnership affiliated with
Nationwide Housing Group. These improvements include
(1) five parking lot islands with two trees
per island; (2) 220 feet of curb along
Fellows and Monroe; (3) replacement of
sidewalk on west side of Fellows Street;
(4) removal of rocks in the planting areas
and replacement with bark or wood chips;
and (5) play equipment.
H:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\020797.MIN -11-
