NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />b. continued.... <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY <br />THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION, governing body of the City <br />of South Bend Department of <br />Redevelopment, that Jenny Pitts Manier be <br />recognized for her distinguished service to <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />and the City of South Bend. <br />Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South <br />Bend Redevelopment Commission held on <br />January 17, 1997 at 1308 County -City <br />Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />Dick Nussbaum stated that when he was <br />employed as the City Attorney nine years <br />ago, his first decision was to hire Jenny Pitts <br />Manier as the new Assistant City Attorney. <br />He stated that Jenny has done a great job for <br />the Redevelopment Commission, the City of <br />South Bend and that she has been his right <br />and left arm in the Legal Department. He <br />gave his personal thanks to Jenny and said <br />that his door is always open to her and he <br />wishes her good luck in Indianapolis. <br />Eugenia Schwartz stated that Jenny Pitts <br />Manier and she have known each other for a <br />long time.
