Mr. Oxian stated that, in light of Mrs. Dixon's
absence, the matter would be tabled until next
month.
c). Tagging of Deed Records
Mrs. Sporleder asked if the Commission had been
able to determine a method for keying deeds to
historic landmarks and district properties. Mr.
Oxian reported that the time had not been available
to visit the recorders office, but that it would be
done before the next meeting. Mrs. Sporleder
reported that other departments were having
difficulty determining historic structures from
their records. Since other departments utilize the
tax key number, perhaps the Commission should
include such information in their lists and have
the appropriate offices tag properties accordingly.
d). Mr. Pastor stated that the
Commission is currently seeking bids for a new
camera, as the existing equipment does not seem to
be functioning properly.
3 -Tax Withholding seems to be the biggest concern
of the staff. Mr. Pastor explained that the money
is available and the grants allow for this option,
but the County does not.seem to be responding to
the proposals of the Commission.
Mr. Newburn asked if the Commission was paying the
appropriate portion of FICA tax that employers
usually pay. Mr. Pastor and Mr. Oxian both stated
no. Mr. Newburn asked if the staff was using their
own cars for business purposes. Mr. Oxian stated
