Mr. Oxian <br />stated that Mrs. Dixon, Mr. Pastor, and <br />he had narrowed the list of candidates to <br />three and had decided to think about the <br />decision, as each candidate had different <br />qualities from the others. He further <br />claimed that he had suggested to Mrs. <br />Dixon that it not be brought before the <br />Commission. The Commission agreed. <br />Mrs. Sporleder asked the number of hours <br />and rate of pay. Mr. Pastor responded <br />that the position is 30 to 35 hours per <br />week at $6.00 - $6.25 per hour, and that <br />the person would be self-employed as a <br />staff person to the Commission. <br />8. Staff Reports <br />a) Annual Report <br />Mr. Oxian asked for corrections. None <br />were forthcoming. <br />V. Old Business <br />A) Film Processing <br />Ms. DeRose asked what had been decided regarding <br />the bids for film processing. Mr. Pastor reported <br />that work had been submitted to both candidates <br />selected by the Commission, and that a decision <br />would be made after the work of each had been <br />compared. Mrs. Petrass reported that the <br />Commission members had voted by mail. Mr. Oxian <br />stated that the two lowest bids were chosen. Ms. <br />DeRose stated that her concern had been that the <br />bidders might still be waiting for a decision from <br />the Commission. Mr. Oxian asked that the minutes <br />reflect the two organizations selected. (Those <br />organizations are C.B.I./Graphics and Dolphin <br />Photo). The bids will be awarded upon review of <br />the finished product. <br />VI. New Business <br />a). New Commission Member <br />Mr. Oxian reported that Bill Welsheimer Sr. had <br />been appointed to the Commission to fill the <br />vacancy left from Mr. Nimtz' passing.
